What is SMTP?

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is a series of commands for authenticating and directing the transfer of emails from one server to another.



Manage your own SMTP

In order to set up a mail client, you first need to set up an SMTP server to handle the email delivery. Setting up your own SMTP in your Magic environment in so simple.


1- On the navigation pane, navigate to Management > Config.

2- Click on Manage SMTP button, on the bottom right of your screen.

3- Inside the popped up panel, type the address of the SMTP host into the SMTP Host box.

4- Type the port number into the SMTP Port box.

5- Type the name inside the Name box.

6- Insert the username and its password into the corresponding boxes.

7- Type the email address for sending log messages into the Email address box.

8- Check the Security option, if needed.

9- Click on the Save button and the panel will be automatically closed. 


* Please do not leave the page until you see the success message on your screen.
